I believe fundamentally that the therapeutic process is a creative one. It opens up space and time to explore issues are brought to the work. I know from experience just how it enriches ones life. It is not an easy process but it is a very rewarding one.
I work with the basic psychonalytic principle that we are influenced by our unconscious which is communicated to us through dreams and free association.
I believe that the past has an influence on the presence and in turn, the future and that there needs to be a healthy relation between these elements for us to live in balance.
I have a particular interest in gender and sexuality.I have worked with
patients across class,ethnicity and age with issues of gender
fluidity,sexuality,aging,discrimination,drug abuse,addiction,fertility and relationship problems. I work one to one and with couples.
